Magnificent Color
I love this pop of red with the tweed. Easy to wear. These are some of my favorite earrings. I wear them all the time. They are Portale (my signature design) in open filigree sterling silver with smoky quartz teardrops. Smoky quartz is one of my most popular gemstones because it is so neutral. The braided leather bracelets are finished in this fabulous metalic, shown here in pewter, gold and bronze. The clasps are sterling silver and close with magnets.

Lusting after a Ring
My friend Leah wore the Signature Gemstone Ring in Citrine in a recent fashion show benefiting the Greene County Red Cross and fell in love with it. She can't decide between the Citrine, Amethyst, Blue Topaz or Smoky Topaz. All are fabulous. My favorite is the Amethyst. Check out my Facebook page for more rings.

New Designer Gallery-JA NY
And what makes it so fabulous is the New Designer Gallery is among the most exclusive spaces at JA. Since it came into being in 1977, the gallery has featured some of the jewelry industry’s brightest stars. Exhibiting in the gallery has helped launch the careers of top designers including David Yurman, Penny Preville, John Atencio, and Alex Sepkus. I should be so fortunate as to follow in their footsteps.
“It’s a prestigious thing,” Cindy Edelstein told me. Cindy is the designer consultant for the show and former fashion editor of JCK magazine, one of the industry’s leading trade publications. “The New Designer Gallery has been the starting point for designers forever.”
Appearing in the New Designer Gallery is literally a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I can only be showcased here once and as an exhibitor in the gallery, I will be eligible to win the Mort Abelson New Designer of the Year Award. The winner will be named on July 25 from the list of very talented designers. It looks like I have some steep competition. Wish me luck!

The history of the Spanish city of Córdoba dates back to the Roman Empire, and this collection has an appropriately classic feel. Inspired by a Renaissance-era Spanish embroidery design popularized by Catherine of Aragon, these striking pieces brim with romance and vitality.
